Dr. Bierman is the editor of the Bierman Dermatology Newsletter which has been in circulation since 1986 and sent quarterly to patients. He also was the contributing editor to the Journal of Sexual Research. Dr. Bierman has an extensive bibliography with 75 published scientific articles and 125 lectures to medical groups on a variety of subjects including psychoneuroimmunology, legal aspects of STDs, sexual revolution of the 1960s - 1980s, and herbal remedies with alternative medicine.

Stanley M. Bierman, MD, F.A.C.P.
Dr. Stanley M. Bierman has been in the private practice of dermatology since 1964. He specializes in sexually transmittied diseases such as genital herpes simplex and genital warts, and was chairman of two national conferences entitled "Sex, Lies and STDs", and "Myths and Realities of Genital Herpes", also chairing yearly courses to undergraduates at UCLA Professional School Seminar Program entitled "Medical, Psychosocial and Legal Aspects of Sexually Transmitted Diseases" from 1991 - 1998. Dr. Bierman has been actively involved for over 35 years in the clinical teaching of skin disease to UCLA Dermatology residents and is the current President of the UCLA Dermatology Clinical Faculty Association and past President of the Los Angeles Dermatologic Society.
Dr. Bierman has many academic honors including: Honorary Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCLA; Fellowship, American College of Physicians; Diplomat, American Board of Forensic Medicine; Fellow, American Academy of Dermatology; and certified since 1965 by the American Board of Dermatology. He also has special interests relating to medicolegal matters, appearing as expert witness for plaintiffs, an Independent Medical Examiner, as well as defense expert for dermatologists in malpractice court cases.
